About

This blog is meant to record our early days of marriage.  It’s also supposed to ensure I get off my bootay (I have a penchant for laziness) and explore my awesome new town of Charleston!!  Leaving New Orleans (and my family) was hard, but this new city of mine is just amazing.  This blog is also meant to keep all of my family and friends in Louisiana updated on what we are up to and to tempt them to visit us in Charleston!

This blog will feature reviews on local eating joints and tourist spots in Charleston, some recipes — does anyone notice a fooooood theme yet? —  possibly some basic home projects, and other lagniappe.  For you non-Cajuns, “lagniappe” is just a little something extra!
